Gibraltar Week in London 2025.

The annual Gibraltar Finance Centre “Gibraltar Day” continues to evolve, much like the jurisdiction itself, having grown into a three-day series of networking breakfasts, lunches, and dinners held at various venues across London.

A strong Hassans presence allowed us to host valued clients and contacts, some of whom already have an interest in Gibraltar, others looking to seize the many opportunities the jurisdiction has to offer, and to meet a plethora of fascinating people. Thanks to our guests for joining us!

This year, Hassans was also pleased to support the newly added Business Conference as a Gold Sponsor. A fabulous evening at the OXO Tower on Tuesday saw Hassans’ Peter Montegriffo KC moderate the keynote fireside chat between Chief Minister Fabian Picardo and Attorney General Michael Llamas, largely discussing important details of the much-anticipated Treaty. Guests were also treated to a live recording of the International Tax Bites podcast earlier in the evening with hosts Hassans’ Head of Tax Advisory, Grahame Jackson, and Consultant and Old Square Tax Chambers Barrister, Harriet Brown.

On Wednesday, our Head of Financial Services, James Lasry, featured as a panellist at the Funds Breakfast, while Head of FinTech, Anthony Provasoli, spoke with Ros Astengo of Gibraltar Today about the discussions held at the DLT Lunch.

Also in attendance at the many lunches and networking events - Gaming Breakfast, Diplomatic Reception, Insurance Seminar and a Private Client Lunch - were Head of Insurance, Yvonne Chu, Head of Gaming, Andrew Montegriffo, Head of Funds, Aaron Payas and Partners Dr. Stephen Noguera and Selwyn Figueras. Albert Mena and Richard Buttigieg also attended as guests of HM Government of Gibraltar.

The Gibraltar Finance Centre has issued a series of excellent videos over the last few days, featuring highlights from the events and summaries of the discussions, we’ll be sharing these over the next few days. Check out the first in the series featuring Selwyn Figueras representing ATCOM, filmed on location on the Hassans’ spectacular roof terrace, and which we were very happy to make available to the Finance Centre for a number of association interviews.

 Finally we wish to extend our thanks to Minster for Justice, Trade and Industry, Nigel Feetham KC, Minster for Health, Care and Business, Gemma Vasquez, and the entire Finance Centre team, including John Paul Fa, Emma Zammitt, Mireille, Cathy and Bianca, who expertly managed the significant demand for the highly sought after seats throughout the week (and our demands generally!).
