Hassans’ FinTech team achieves top tier rankings across the board in Chambers FinTech ‘25.

Hassans’ Partners Anthony Provasoli and Aaron Payas have today been recognised as Band 1 lawyers in Chambers and Partners FinTech Guide 2025. The 10-lawyer strong team has also been ranked as leading in the fintech sector, a ranking the firm first received at the outset of the rise of the FinTech sector in 2017.

The recognition is as a result of another solid year for both themselves and their team advising the highest profile clients in the global FinTech market.

Chambers FinTech receives non-attributable feedback from clients to identify and differentiate the leading payments, blockchain, cyber security and data protection legal specialists globally. The rankings are based purely on client feedback from the team’s extensive client base. Feedback this year from clients included:

“Hassans knows what they are talking about. They seem to be very much integrated into the territory. They have been very steadfast and always available."

"This department has a deep understanding of the Gibraltar regulatory framework, and understands the need to find practical and commercial solutions tailored to the needs of the business in question."

On the Hassans’ team lead, Anthony Provasoli, contacts stated:

"Anthony is involved with industry initiatives that impact the sector and is therefore well-placed to advise and guide businesses in the FinTech industry."

On Aaron Payas, they added:

"Aaron is a superb attorney. I highly recommend him to any client, and I am expanding his legal services within my corporations."

"Aaron Payas is on top of everything and gets things done as well as any lawyer I have worked with. He is a veritable encyclopaedia when it comes to regulations in Gibraltar and the Eurozone."

The firm would like to thank all their valued clients and contacts who took the time to speak to the Chambers and Partners researchers.
