Caroline is a Senior Associate in the Financial Services and Shipping Departments.

Since joining the firm in 2018, Caroline has completed her training within the firm’s associated fiduciary services company, Line Group Limited, the Litigation team and in the Funds team. She has also undertaken a three month secondment at the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission and a further month’s secondment at the Gibraltar Stock Exchange.

Caroline specialises in advising regulated firms, particularly insurance firms and electronic money institutions, on cross-border provision of services, licensing process, governance, consumer duty and sale and acquisition of regulated firms. She also advises investment vehicles on structuring, ongoing regulatory requirements and cross-border marketing.

Within the shipping team, Caroline regularly assists on the sale and purchase of vessels, including super yachts and the registration of vessels in Gibraltar.

After graduating from the University of Reading with an LLB degree, whilst also completing a year studying Spanish law at Universidad de Salamanca, Caroline went on to complete an LLM in Corporate and Commercial Law at Queen Mary’s, University of London, before undertaking the Bar Professional Training Course at City University. Caroline is a member of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple and was admitted to the Bar of England & Wales in 2018.

Caroline sits on the executive of the Gibraltar Funds and Investments Association, where she serves as the Head of the Technical Committee. She also sits on the executive of the Gibraltar Law Council.
