It has also shown how not all medical systems are able to provide the same level of care to their patients. This poses the question "would global universal healthcare make sense?" The quoted article says yes, it makes perfect financial sense to achieve this. But it would require the collaboration of both the public sector and the private sector including insurance and pharmaceutical companies to allow for greater domestic investments and developments to be made with each country underlining their own priorities.
