Sophie is a Paralegal in the Corporate and Commercial Department, working under the supervision of Ian Felice and Tania Rahmany. She holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Cambridge and an MA in Intercultural Communications from University College London, graduating with Distinction.
Alongside her work at Hassans, Sophie is completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Law with Distinction, with the intention of qualifying as a solicitor following the SQE.
Sophie has presented at conferences internationally on Gibraltar’s unique language, Llanito, and its relevance for international law debates. She gained valuable experience through a range of legal internships and court shadowing placements, where she was exposed to corporate, commercial, tort and litigation work. She has also completed journalistic internships, which strengthened the research, analytical and communication skills that she draws on in her current practice
