Trainees attend inaugural session of Hassans' newly structured Trainee Development Programme.

The first session of the firm’s newly launched formal, interactive, structured Trainee Development Programme took place at Madison, Midtown at lunchtime yesterday.

The aim of the Trainee Development Programme is to expose trainees to ‘real life’ client scenarios across different areas of law and practice and to provide trainees with an insight into the practical realities of managing clients, cases and transactions. The two year Programme will run along side their respective Training Contracts.

Following each session, the trainees must complete set tasks on which the senior lawyers will provide honest and constructive feedback.

Trainee lawyer, Anna Buhler, commented:

Despite being an area that I am fairly familiar with, I still learnt  a lot of new information which I was able to apply almost instantly after the session. I am really looking forward to learning about different practice areas which I am not as familiar with, which will help me to become a more well-rounded Trainee.”

Managing Partner, Javier Chincotta, said:

“We hope the trainees will enjoy the many benefits that this Programme has been designed to deliver and look forward to seeing the positive impact that this initiative will have on the learning and development of our junior lawyers for the benefit of our clients going forward and Hassans as a whole.”
