Hassans hosts MWG2019 delegates at a panoramic breakfast reception

Hassans hosted a breakfast reception on Thursday 27^th June on the 12^th floor terrace of its offices in the Madison Building, Midtown.

Partner Lewis Baglietto QC, Head of Shipping, and his team welcomed Maritime Week Gibraltar 2019 delegates, on the inaugural outing of the firm’s terrace which offers panoramic views of the town and the Bay.

The breakfast was held as part of a week-long conference programme which attracted c. 250 delegates from all sectors of the global shipping community.  The programme addressed the major issues in the international shipping and maritime industries and created a global forum for networking and developing important new trading relationships.

Hon Chief Minister Fabian Picardo QC MP took time to deliver an address to the delegates, following his opening address at the start of the conference, and was joined by Hon Gilbert Licudi MP, Hon Dr. John Cortes MP and further representatives from The Gibraltar Port Authority, Petrospot, and the Gibraltar Maritime Administration. Delegates followed the breakfast with site visits aboard HMS Echo and at Gibdock.
