I’m delighted to have been asked to speak at Gibraltar's first Ethical Gambling Forum next month.
Gibraltar is a leading gaming hub with around 40 top-tier licensed operators employing over 3000 workers. The first Ethical Gambling Forum held in Gibraltar will be looking at how operators can:
- manage environmental impact to have a positive influence on the planet which their stakeholders, regulators and customers now demand;
- adopt a values-based approach to work to foster their people, culture, and products to have a positive social impact in communities in which they work and society at large;
- strengthen corporate governance work, particularly around safer-gambling and ESG Reporting.
I will be speaking alongside international and local talent including Professor Keith Straughan, ESG Foundation, Martin Lycka, SVP for Regulatory Affairs and Responsible Gaming at Entain and Dr. Michael Auer, Data Scientist, Psychologist and Gambling Researcher. Local speakers include Andrew Lyman, Professor Daniella Tilbury and Leah Carnegie FCIPD, CPO Lottoland.
