The Young Enterprise Company Programme Finals took place last night at Central Hall, bringing together some of Gibraltar’s most promising young entrepreneurs for a highly competitive and inspiring event.
Fourteen finalist teams battled it out across a full day of presentations, interviews, and exhibitions, showcasing their products and services to an expert judging panel and engaged audience. Each team demonstrated remarkable creativity, commercial awareness and entrepreneurial drive.
Ivan Gomez, Partner at Hassans, was invited to form part of this year’s judging panel alongside a distinguished group of professionals from across Gibraltar’s business community, reflecting the strong industry support behind the programme. Hassans is a long-standing sponsor of the Young Enterprise awards, continuing to support the development of young talent and entrepreneurship in Gibraltar.
Speaking after the event, Ivan said:
"It was truly inspiring to see the entrepreneurial spirit of the next generation on full display. The creativity, confidence and commercial awareness shown by all participants was remarkable. Gibraltar's future is in very capable hands."
A huge thank you goes to the Young Enterprise Gibraltar Chair, Carlos Garcia, and Deputy Chair, Sean Federico, and to Prof. John Cortes, Minister for Education, Environment and Sustainability and His Excellency the Governor, Lieutenant General Sir Ben Bathurst who took the time to visit each of the finalists, as well as the fellow judges, Ashley Romero and Albert Rocca and Colins Pons who judged the best presentation, and all the teachers, business advisers and supporters whose dedication has helped so many young people bring their business aspirations to life.
