Maria is a Trainee Solicitor currently undertaking her first seat in the Corporate & Commercial team, where she works under the supervision of Richard Buttigieg. She holds an LLB in Law and Criminology from the University of York and has just completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Leeds.
Maria has gained valuable experience through legal internships at Hassans and other leading firms in Gibraltar, where she was exposed to corporate, commercial, and private client work. In addition to her legal training, she has also been exposed to financial services through a role in a private bank, giving her a unique insight into financial transactions and regulatory processes.
