Hassans International Law Firm becomes a Limited Company

Hassans has announced that as of today, Wednesday 1st July, it will be operating as Hassans International Law Firm Limited.

The transition from a traditional partnership to a limited liability company follows the parameters introduced by the Legal Services Act 2017. This provides a framework which substantially overhauls the regulation of legal services in Gibraltar so as to ensure that the sector is regulated in a modern, transparent and effective manner which best reflects the fused nature of legal practice in Gibraltar.

Javier Chincotta, of Hassans International Law Firm Limited, commented:

“A change in structure is a detailed process to navigate, with lockdown having further added to the challenge of ensuring critical deadlines were met, but we have worked hard over the last year to bring this to fruition. As a limited company we will be able to respond more quickly to client requirements and adapt to the changing environment.”

Hassans has been in contact with current clients and intermediaries over the last quarter regarding the transition but for any queries please contact info@hassans.gi.
