Sebastian M. Ramirez Segundo joined the firm in 2005. He is a senior associate within the Spanish Department, based in Hassans’ Sotogrande office, and works closely with the Commercial and Tax departments at Hassan’s Gibraltar office. He also assists the Company Management department in relation to the management of various international structures investing in Spain. In addition, Sebastian holds the position of Director or legal counsel to the Board of various international companies represented by the Firm.

Sebastian is a lawyer with expertise in corporate and commercial law, tax law, as well as property law. He has wide experience in mergers, acquisitions and disposals of companies, corporate restructuring & reorganisations, joint ventures; including amongst others, acquisition and disposal of companies with head offices in UK, Turkey, Spain and off shore territories. He also provides general advice to national and foreign companies in relation to the internationalisation and development of their businesses in different sectors, such as the construction industry, retail industry (shopping centres, supermarkets, franchises, etc.) and the renewable energy sector.

Sebastian has also developed expertise in international tax planning and private client work; advising clients in relation to their personal tax situation worldwide and representing them before the Spanish Tax Authorities, as and when required.

He has also worked in the banking sector, acting as an attorney for international banks providing and supervising the security for large real estate investments in Spain.
