Miriam is a Paralegal in the Financial Services Team working closely with James Lasry dealing with funds and blockchain matters.
Miriam started her professional career as a scientist in the molecular/microbiology field (working on Covid-related matters) after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Health Sciences and Judaic Studies.
In 2021, Miriam pivoted to financial regulation where she worked in the DLT Team as Regulatory Officer (and later Senior Regulatory Officer) at the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission, primarily working on the authorisation and supervision of a number of DLT Providers in Gibraltar. During that time, she completed the Professional Diploma of Competence in Gibraltar Financial Services with the University of Gibraltar.
Miriam joined the Financial Services team at Hassans in January 2025.
