Hassans sponsored Young Enterprise Company Programme (Gibraltar) launched.

A really inspiring evening was spent at the Young Enterprise Company Programme product launch at Bayside Comprehensive School last week. Seventeen innovative teams showcased their ideas and products to a packed auditorium, addressed by Chairman Carlos Garcia, joined by Minister Cortes, sponsors and family members.

Hassans has proudly sponsored the Company Programme for over 10 years and during that time we have seen youth participation in Gibraltar grow year on year. Each cohort brings fresh ideas that reflect the world young people are shaping today.

Hassans was represented by Catherine Knock, Head of Marketing, along with Sean Federico, Deputy Chairman of Young Enterprise Gibraltar and recently appointed Chief Financial Officer Designate at Hassans.

Speaking at the end of last year when presenting the firm’s donation, Managing Partner, Javier Chincotta said: “Our involvement goes far beyond funding. Our people mentor, advise and support student teams, helping to shape ideas that are commercially viable and future focused” with COO of Hassans, Mark Okes-Voysey, adding: “Young Enterprise plays a vital role in building entrepreneurial confidence and showcasing Gibraltar’s young talent on the international stage, we are proud to support this valuable Programme.”

We wish all the teams the very best of luck. Winners will be announced on Wednesday 20th May, with the successful overall team going on to represent Gibraltar at the UK Finals on Wednesday 3rd June 2026.
