Hassans & Line Group join Cancer Research Relay for Life

The Cancer Research UK – Gibraltar Branch Relay for Life took place this past (very hot) weekend. Hassans, alongside our fiduciary arm Line Group, proudly represented the legal industry among over 75 corporate and family teams.

This powerful community event, held biennially for the past eight years, brings people together to celebrate, commemorate, and walk in solidarity with anyone whose life has been affected by cancer. This year was truly record-breaking, with over £100,000 (and counting, donations still coming in!) raised during the 24 hours in support of life-saving cancer research and local support services.

Cancer can leave families and communities feeling powerless. The Relay for Life is a unifying and deeply moving experience—an opportunity to reflect, remember, and show respect for those currently fighting or who have fought cancer. It is a privilege to participate in something so meaningful, and to contribute towards finding a cure and supporting those on their own challenging journeys.

A massive thank you goes to the incredible team at Cancer Research UK – Gibraltar Branch, whose tireless work made the event possible—especially our own Sofia Baglietto, whose efforts shone throughout. You're a true star.

Hassans and Line Group proudly fielded over 40 staff members and more than 15 of their children. Heartfelt thanks to each and every one of our amazing walkers and helpers:
