Hassans renews Cyber Essentials certification.

Hassans has successfully renewed its Cyber Essentials (Cyber Security) Certification for the 25/26 period.

This annual verified certification validates that the firm has implemented essential security controls to mitigate the risk of cyber threats. It reinforces Hassans dedication to ensuring a secure environment for its operations and its clients.

The certification demonstrates that an organisation is protecting itself by implementing the most important cyber security controls. The assessment covers the following five technical controls designed to prevent the most common internet-based cyber security threats:

  • user access control
  • secure configuration
  • security update management
  • firewalls and routers, and
  • malware protection.

Logan Moreno, Head of IT, Hassans, commented:

“This certification demonstrates our ongoing commitment to maintaining robust cybersecurity practices and protecting our valuable data. As one would expect, the process is increasingly complex year on year as the assessment criteria evolves to ensure that it stays effective in the constantly changing threat landscape."
