Congratulations to Cow Paradise Games Limited which has successfully registered with the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission ("GFSC") as a Virtual Asset Service Provider ("VASP") under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2015 (Relevant Financial Business) (Regulations) 2021 (the “RFB Regulations”).
The RFB Regulations were introduced in Gibraltar in 2021 in full compliance with the FATF’s Recommendations on Virtual Assets. The registration regime is focused on AML compliance and allows token issuers, such as Cow Paradise, to build confidently on solid, compliant foundations.
Cow Paradise's Managing Director, John Paul Morris, said, “We’re excited to share that Cow Paradise Games Limited is now officially registered as a VASP with the GFSC! This registration is a proud moment for us at Cow Paradise Games. It reflects the countless hours of dedication, teamwork, and vision from everyone involved. With the upcoming LAIT token at the heart of our ecosystem, we’re connecting in-game rewards with real-world value, making gaming more exciting and rewarding for players everywhere. From games like Endless Runner and paintball shooter to our long-term goal of launching an AAA open-world survival game in 2025, we’re building something truly special. This milestone is just the beginning of an incredible journey, and we’re excited for what’s ahead!
This achievement marks a major milestone in our journey, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the exceptional support from Hassans, and special thanks to Aaron Payas for his guidance and dedication throughout this process. We’re looking forward to continuing our journey and sharing more exciting updates soon!"
Aaron Payas, Partner at Hassans, added, “We are delighted with the timing of this registration as it now allows the Cow Paradise team to start 2025 with renewed focus and confidence knowing that they have an ideal structure in place in Gibraltar from which to execute their plans. Special thanks to the efforts of Jeremy Requena and Jerome Compson who have provided a very personalised and professional service to John Paul Morris and his team to get this over the line.”
Gibraltar and Hassans continue to lead the way in the crypto space. The ability to undertake a registered token sale from Gibraltar is extremely appealing to founders who want to ensure AML compliance when building their projects, something which is becoming an evermore prevalent requirement for investors and counterparties.
