The Gibraltar Society of Accountants (GSA) (formerly known as GSCCAB – Gibraltar Society of Chartered and Certified Accountancy) has 100+ members in professional practice or in industry and commerce. Virtually all members also hold membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) or the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of the UK (ACCA). The role of the GSA is to provide guidance on professional and technical issues, organise student and member training and offer a forum for discussion and conflict resolution on issues affecting the profession. The GSA also represents member interests in meetings and negotiations with official bodies including the Government of Gibraltar and the Financial Services Commission.
