Learning from lockdown - Work-life balance

Lockdown has presented us all with invariable difficulties in all aspects of life. As the lockdown is being eased in the majority of the EU, it is important to learn from what has been a life-changing experience for many of us.

We live in a world of overriding urgency to meet deadlines and get things done and forget to live in the present and enjoy every moment as, and recent events have shown us, it could be our last.

It is of utmost importance to ensure that we strike the optimum work-life balance to not only use our time wisely to satisfy both aspects but when dedicating our time to the task at hand, we perform the same at the highest level possible.

Enjoy and fully immerse yourself in those moments of downtime with family and friends as it will make way for a more efficient outcome in your professional efforts.

"It's about managing people's expectations - share with your friends, family or colleagues what you learned in lockdown and what you want to continue with." www.bbc.com/...
