Hassans’ Academy launches

The Hassans Academy was launched at the beginning of the year to offer the highest level of training to our legal practitioners.Hassans Academy

On 6th January, Grahame Jackson and Michael Nahon delivered sessions on Tax and Data Protection respectively. Last Wednesday saw Anthony Provasoli presenting on Financial Services, Aaron Payas on Funds and Andrew Montegriffo on Gaming. Due to the restrictions in place, all sessions are currently being held by Zoom.

Matthew Torres, Senior Associate and Head of Academy Operations, commented:

“We are very proud to have completed our first month of Academy sessions. If these initial sessions are anything to go by, we are certain of having a very successful and fruitful Academy.

We wish to thank everyone who has attended so far and the leaders in their field who have delivered the sessions, the feedback has been brilliant. Investing in our people is investing in the future of our business; we are fully committed to ensure they continue to have the best training. We are very much looking forward to the February sessions”.

Anthony Provasoli, Partner-in-charge, added:

“We have been working on the Academy for some time now and its success is very important to us. Being a multi-faceted firm with great experience and expertise across a broad spectrum of areas it is difficult to decide which specific topics to cover and in how much detail.

We are, therefore, encouraging the lawyers attending these sessions to provide feedback and to let us know if there are any particular areas they would like to focus on. It is important for all practitioners to understand that they form part of the Hassans’ machine and their proper training is of utmost importance if we expect them to provide value.

The Partners and Senior Associates that are delivering the training have all stepped up and done a great job and we are looking forward to complementing that with training sessions for and from external sources.”

The sessions are currently prepared and delivered solely for the purposes of our practitioners. Please contact catherine.knock@hassans.gi for information on sessions to be held for external attendees which are scheduled for Spring.
