Noelle Laguea is an Associate with expertise in corporate and commercial law and has experience working across Hassans’ Corporate and Commercial Department and Shipping Team.

Since joining Hassans in 2017, Noelle has worked closely with Richard Buttigieg and Chloe Oppenheimer-Fa, assisting in numerous corporate/commercial matters – specifically leveraged finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and the setting up of corporate structures.

In addition to Noelle’s corporate and commercial practice, she also forms part of Hassans’ Shipping Team, and regularly acts on behalf of both ship owners and banks on aspects of registration and the financing of vessels on the Gibraltar Ship and Yacht Registries. As part of Hassan’s Commercial Team, Noelle also drafts and advises on commercial agreements to be used in a shipping context.

Noelle received an LLB Law (Hons) from the University of the West of England, Bristol in 2015 and then completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP University, London in 2016. She joined Hassans in 2017 and was admitted as a solicitor in Gibraltar, England and Wales in 2019.

Noelle is also the co-founder and editor at Blockchain Rock, a video podcast focused on exploring the fintech industry, the current use cases of the blockchain across various industries, and the people behind it.
