Abraham is a Consultant within Hassans’ Corporate and Commercial team.
He provides Chief Financial Officer (CFO) services to some of the firm’s larger clients such as managing financial processes, tracking cash flow positions, preparing management accounts and analyses. He is also an insolvency practitioner licenced by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission, focusing on member’s voluntary liquidations.
Prior to joining Hassans, Abraham worked at Deloitte as an Audit Director for approximately 12 years, gaining highly valuable audit experience. While in this position he managed audit assignments for a wide range of large companies including banks, gaming companies, property, funds, investment managers, and other leading clients. He also gained experience working on non-audit engagements such as independent accountant’s reports, due diligence projects etc.
Abraham is Qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a BA Econ (Hons) Accounting from the University of Manchester. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the Gibraltar Society of Accountants.
Previously, as a Finance Faculty member of the Gibraltar Society of Accountants, he was part of a working group which revised Gibraltar Financial Reporting Standards required from updates made to UK Financial Reporting Standards.
