Legal market overview
The e-commerce and online gaming sectors remain key areas for the Gibraltarian market, with low taxes and appealing gambling legislation attracting online businesses and payment service providers to the jurisdiction. Gibraltar is also a key country for investment funds and financial services, with other core areas for law firms including private client work and shipping matters.

Gibraltar continued its growth and development with the successful launch in 2015 of the Gibraltar Stock Exchange and Gibraltar International Bank, along with the University of Gibraltar, which opened in September 2015.

Hassans is the largest firm in Gibraltar, with Isolas and Triay & Triay also being prominent in the market. In March 2015, Triay Stagnetto Neish merged with Cruz & Co.
